Grant us peace, Thy most precious gift,
O Thou eternal source of peace,
and enable Israel to be a messenger of peace
unto the peoples of the earth.
Bless our country
that it may ever be a stronghold of peace,
Bless our country
that it may ever be a stronghold of peace,
and the advocate of peace in the council of nations.[1]
May contentment reign within its borders,
health and happiness within its homes.
Strengthen the bonds of friendship and fellowship
between all the inhabitants of our land.
Plant virtue in every soul,
and may the love of Thy name
hallow every home
and every heart.
Praise be to Thee, Giver of peace.

Grant Unity Hashem

Grant, Hashem,

that we might overcome our enemies

by transforming them into friends.

Make them

and make us

conscious of those deep inward reaches

whereby every heart is rooted

in the world’s deep common life.

Cause us

to cease looking into directions

that oppose.

Cause us, O YOU our Utmost Good,

to look into the one direction

of a united look unto You.

Amen.

Compassionate Activism

Activism is compassionate, no matter what. It’s because you love something so much that your heart is breaking if you don’t get involved. What happens is that sometimes we forget, because on the flip side of that is anger.

We have to be very careful not to fall into the trap of anger and ego and pride.

What Do You Believe about the Change in the World Generally?

I do not believe in a positive change in the world by its own will. Humanity will not suddenly become kinder, wiser, or more considerate. What I do believe is that humanity will bring itself to such a dangerous and horrible state that it will finally understand that it must change, seriously and urgently. Humanity will change only when it is horrified, when it sees its own end approaching.

Am I hopeful? Yes, but not in the naïve sense. My hope is that people will clearly see that they are heading toward a quick and inevitable collapse. Only then, perhaps, will they realize that there must be a way out, even if they do not yet see what that way is.

If you tell people today, “Let us treat one another well,” it sounds childish, naive, and unrealistic. Yet this is the best, loftiest, and most necessary approach that we could assume. And still, how much suffering must humanity endure before it can say, “Enough!”?

What thought will awaken in people one step before the abyss? It will be when humanity realizes it is losing everything, especially its children, i.e., when people see that the future of their children and grandchildren is disappearing, that their existence is threatened, and that there is nowhere left to run. At that point of helplessness, they will agree to change.

This is because true change comes from above, but only when we are ready to accept it, and our readiness for such a change is born from absolute hopelessness.

Civilization must reach the awareness of a dead end, that without inner transformation, everything will vanish.

We cannot stop this movement toward a breaking point. Neither reason nor logic will help. What will help? Only a deep inner feeling that a dead end is inevitable.

This is why I dedicate myself to teaching and sharing the knowledge, method, and understanding that has the ability to prepare humanity’s mind for such a change. In the same token, reality itself will awaken people’s hearts through its own crises and pressures.

The great question remains: Can we bring humanity to the awareness of what true change depends on faster, more enjoyably, and with increased consciousness of the process it is in? That is my hope.

Yesterday, my older brother and I had a disagreement about something that turned to a heated discussion about religion, that ended, him calling me a new ager and me telling him that he’s legalistic. It’s funny to me now as I’m writing this lol but it seems like this always happens around holidays. I have a Christian background, and I’ve always felt sad around Christmas time when you’re supposed to be happy and joyful. And some Christmas music makes me sad. This is not new to me, I’ve always felt sad or melancholy around this time of year even when I was active in church. I guess, I learned to fake it all those years.

If the government bulit its own roads you would save 60% on the cost of the roads as thats the contractors profit and the army has most of the gear to build roads so why dont we use them
