I grew up on a cattle farm as well as a fresh vegetable and fruit farm as a young boy and our basement was literally filled to the brim of canned or glass bottles that were used to store fresh vegetables and fruits and I think some of them might have been 10 to 15 years old perfectly fine and perfectly able to be eaten with no type of chemicals to keep them in good shape.. maybe we should Resort back to our old ways?
