"Heyoka Empaths" are a rare, yet profoudly strange, unique, and exotic type of empath. With their unique capacity for deep understanding and reflection, Heyoka Empaths inspire profound transformation in those who seek their guidance. A Heyoka is attuned to the energetic algorithms of people, places, and situations. With uncanny precision, they sense fluctuations in energy fields and are deeply impacted by their surroundings. Without preconceived notions clouding their judgement, the Heyoka is able to approach each situation with fresh eyes and empower others to do the same.
To determine if you are a Heyoka Empath, it is necessary to assess your ability to perceive and understand the emotions of others. Through meditation and self-reflection, consider your sensitivity to the feelings of those around you and how you respond to the world and the energetic frequency to others frequential fields and vibrations.
In Native American tribes where Heyokas were respected and revered for their abilities, Heyokas would be the ones to open people's eyes to new possibilities and different angles of a situation. They also have the unique ability to shift the energy of a group through their understanding of emotions. In modern day society, a Heyoka may be a peacemaker or someone who is particularly good at working with people and keeping energy in a group balanced. As spiritual tricksters (*NOTE THAT THEIR SPIRIT ANIMALS ARE CROWS) with healing powers derived from their connection to a devine ancestral spirit referenced to( Iktomi -the spider-trickster-), Hayokas embody opposites not only in words but also physically and multi dimensional; they wear masks or regalia opposite those worn at other dances. The Hayoka is a revered figure in the culture of the Sioux (Lakota and Dakota people) of the Great Plains, known for their contrarian behavior as jesters and satirists who challenge societal norms through unconventional and exotic speeches, movements, and reactions.
Despite widespread misconceptions about Heyomas, amongst contemporary members of their own community and tribes when it comes right down to two things; firstly there exists an elite group known as 'Heyokas', secondarily these particular beings represent warriors (or teachers) tasked with imparting wisdom from beyond this realm of existence and/reality while serving under none other than "The Wakinyan" AKA "Thunder Beings".. Heyokas are often devastatingly misunderstood and overlooked by society in currwnt times, which fail to recognize their unique, profound and very beneficial abilities and attracts no support in realizing their full potential as powerful spiritual leaders and teachers to the spirtual aspect of life.
Not all Heyoka can fully comprehend there nature of their calling, which they ultimately cannot escape. As a result, some are humbled and endure personal tragedy until they agree to do what was asked of them or agreed upon before reincarnation to there physical reality. (Joseph Eagle Elk), a great Heyoka who is no longer with us today, gave a heartfelt account of his own struggle in his autobiography, (The Price of a Gift). Explaining that whether the Heyoka lives an exemplary life or not, there is no denying that all Heyoka are mysteriously and spiritually gifted by Wakan Tonka and the Wakinyan (Thunder Beings) and remain a Heyoka even beyond death.
ARE YOU A (HEYOKA EMPATH)..?
