Down and Out
I'm not out, but feel so down.
It's so hard at times creating a smile from a frown.
I may feel down, but refuse to be out.
I'll continue on without a doubt.
I have no doubt, I know this is all real.
I don't understand why so many conceal.
Darkness keeps coming, but this light can take it.
One thing I'll never do ever is fake it.
At times I'm so down and I feel so bad.
When I do good it makes others mad.
When I feel bad it makes them glad.
It makes me forget of all the good times I ever had.
I continue to press on every single day.
They continue on with all the venom they spray.
One day they'll look back at everything they've done.
In the end I hope it was worth all the fun.
The things they do, what they put others through.
All for the pleasure of their view.
That's okay, I have the power of three.
God, his Ghost, and his son JC.
Then there's my power of three that helps me be a light.
Surrounded by darkness I continue the fight.
