I've recently learned that your feelings are an actual entity so we need to take care of our feelings and love our feelings and acknowledge our feelings.. don't stuff them down or act like they do not exist but rather acknowledge them and tell them that you love them but you do not wish to indulge in their overpowering of your thought process.. they are not going to go away or disappear and they will always be there so just embrace them and love them and let them know that you know they are there and they serve their purpose..
