I am 3 years into my spiritual awakening and at first was understanding.. "am awake " per say now however the more i try to research anything the more lost and confused im getting. I have my own beliefs in a higher power per say but i do have to voice my opinion... Yes we do need Jesus in order to be with God HOWEVER he himself was a prophet of God. Jesus walked the earth among us to spread his fathers/our fathers word stating clearly that it is our father in heaven meaning God that we need to worship not Jesus... Man chooses to worship Jesus not God... Wrong my fellow humans
