they're not just using the device to heal, they're using the device to rearrange material, they can rearrange your body to do what they want

evacuate us and then deal with the evil people, just figure out how to get those of us ready for flight and take us off the planet, tell us the deal and then take care of the problem

if it's as bad as they say it is then I think we need an evacuation secretly, and then deal with the leaders, once we're all at a safe distance, I think that would most likely be the safest way to do this
