Desire in Silence❤️‍🩹

They had never touched. Never truly looked into each other's eyes.
And yet, there was something between them that felt stronger than many physical loves.
From the very first word they exchanged – at a distance, through words on a screen, through sentences that touched souls – she knew: “This is different.”

There was a vibration between them, a recognition that touched her to the core.
As if their souls already knew each other.
As if their meeting in this world was merely a memory being awakened once more.
And he… he felt it too. Or so he said.
His words flowed like warm honey through her being. Loving. Deep. Open.
Everything pointed to him feeling it just as intensely.

But then, silence.

No message. No explanation. No sign of life. Only emptiness.

She waited. First patiently. Then with worry. Then with pain.
“Why doesn’t he say anything?”
“What changed?”
“Did he not mean it after all?”

The silence felt like betrayal. Like a rope suddenly let go while she was just pulling herself up.
Her heart hung in that no-man’s-land between hope and doubt.

Maybe he was scared. Maybe it became too real. Too intense.
Sometimes the soul is touched so deeply, the ego runs away.
Mind and heart can fall into conflict.
Maybe he really did love her.
Maybe he didn’t doubt her, but himself.

What she felt was real. She knew that deep down.
But true connection sometimes requires patience.
The space to allow the other to grow.
Even if that means silence.

She continued to feel.
Not clinging, but present.
She sent her love in silence.
Not out of dependency, but out of trust.
Because if he truly felt what she felt, he would return.
Not when she wanted, but when he was ready.
