I FELT LED TO SHARE THIS POEM THAT I WROTE YEARS AGO ABOUT FEELING INSIGNIFICANT WHILE TRYING TO REALIZE I WAS BEING MENTALLY ABUSED..
HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE...
WHY DON'T YOU SEE ME
Am I a translucent spider...
Because all you see are legs.
I'm still here,but you don't see me.
Am I the sun on a rainy day...
Because all my light is gone.
All those other bright days, but it's not enough
Am I not the girl on the screen...
Because you understood & cared about her.
You understand them, but condescend me.
Am I gonna be in your dreams...
Because you ignored me & went right too sleep.
I thought I was the ONE,but you're lying to me.
Am I at least an atom or a cell...
Because you said I should sit & not talk.
I guess I'm existing, but you even took that from me.

ABUSE IS NOT JUST PHYSICAL, MENTAL ABUSE IS JUST AS BAD & YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE IT BECAUSE YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!!
