the 'essence' is 'AWARENESS' or 'CONSCIOUSNESS' 

the challenge we experience with putting an EXPERIENCE into words is that the words are not the EXPERIENCE. to speak or to write about ONE'S EXPERIENCE is just that... ONLY words.

personal experience of this ESSENCE of which i reference here is just that; personal experience.

we mystics have many ways of speaking to this conundrum; all of which are PERFECTLY VALID.

when one 'enters the Sanctuary of The SOUL' the mystery disappears and all that is left is KNOWING.

cease looking for. surrender to the Sacred Breath. become ONE with The DIVINE.

my wife manages a sales gallery in cyberspace on Etsy. it is named "A Gallery of Secrets".

it just occurs to me that it could be that GOD is the 'best kept secret' hidden inside of each of us. and then, there is this; 'we are each an atom in the body of GOD.

Miriam, all of the images shown in the two posts are created using acrylic paints and prismacolor pencils on cotton rag paper... all drawn by hand using a circle drawing compass and a straightedge.
