We ask for the gentle blessing of rain,
A rain that soothes the flames, cools the earth, and restores balance.
Let the skies open with abundant showers of life-giving water,
To cleanse the air, nourish the soil, and bring peace to the land.
May the winds calm and carry not destruction,
But healing and comfort to every corner.
May the courageous firefighters and responders be strengthened and protected,
As they dedicate themselves to safeguarding lives and homes.
We hold in our hearts the animals who flee,
The trees and plants that stand vulnerable,
