Scare Aware
I am becoming more and more aware.
Less and less I feel the scare.
Going against my feelings I do not dare.
It causes emotional pain, but who is there to care?
Gaining more vision as I continue losing my sight.
God is guiding me so I know everything's all right.
I'm thrown into the wolves, so that's where I fight.
I fight in their darkness where I seek the light.
It's so hard to tell what direction to go.
Maybe that's only for God to know.
I'm just a character, and he's running the show.
Thank you God for letting me continue to grow.

I'm walking away but I will not run.
I haven't even begun to fight because of all the damage done.
I've been in the center of so many's twisted fun.

Pushing me to the point of beyond Hell's gate.
I'm not like them, I feel no hate.

These characters helped me to keep me alive.
Many of you out there helped me also, and soon I will thrive.
I'm taking a break but again I will strive.
Head first into the grime again I will dive.
I'm not alone in this fight.
I know that now so I'll continue fighting for what's right.
The Giver of rain gives me sight.
He truly has blessed me to be a light.
I know I'm a nut and a bit of a screw.
This is a call reaching out to all of you.
I am many colors, but mainly I'm true blue.
I am what I am, and I do what I do.
So if you can hear me then join me today.

Take Time
Take time to see what is there.
Take the time to make yourself fully aware.
Don't just sit there and do nothing but stare.
Open your mind, but beware.
An open mind must be strong.
There are those making you feel as if you don't belong.
If your mind is open, that is not wrong.
Many just refuse to get along.
Keep your mind open and in the clear.
It's up to you what direction to steer.
Don't be scared, have no fear.
Just know the clear can be very severe.

The Code
I am now part of what's known as a code.
No longer do I want to explode.
Rest your mind and ease your fear.
I may travel far, but will always be near.
Like so many others, I want to live.
In order to be happy, I must give.
As it's said, " be happy with what you get".
Not ever should you feel regret.
I'm sorry for the things I've done.
I'm only human living under one sun.
My power of three is inside of me.
I may be blind but my third eye can see.
Off I go on down the trail.
This mission, I promise you, I will not fail.
Digging into life, deeper and deeper.
As I dig deeper the walls get steeper.
There is the unknown without a doubt.
Don't worry, I always find my way out.
