Worry is the opposite of faith. It is the worship of the forces of nature, the power of illness, the dynamics of the market, the belief that these and mortal beings are the masters of your life.
Faith is the inner knowledge that there is really nothing else but His abundant love. It is the conviction that you have only one Master, and His love to you knows no bounds.
And that if you cannot see this love, it is because it is such awesome love, it flows to you in ways far beyond your comprehension.
If so, when His caress seems harsh, embrace it with joy. When His kisses pour down in a torrent beyond your capacity to endure, open wide.
Perhaps He is carrying you higher, closer, far beyond your tiny cell into a vast palace of blinding light. Because He desires your closeness.
Perhaps He is cleansing your body and soul, your universe and all it contains, finely tuning them to resonate with His infinite presence.

Free choice is the quintessential expression of Gād, for He alone is truly free. Gād breathes within the human being, and so we too become free to choose our path home.
Darkness, confusion and the possibility of evilāall this then has a purpose of its own: It provides a stage for us to find Gād within ourselves, when we make the right choice, all on our own.

At the outset of Creation, He removed all light. And that is the source of all that ever goes wrong.
Why did He remove the light? Why did He choose that things could go wrong?
Sometimes we say He wanted darkness as a black velvet setting, an empty space in which to shine a new light and make a world of light. The darkness, we say, is there for the sake of light, as pain exists for the sake of healing.
But this could not be the entire answer.
Why? Because darkness for the purpose of light is not complete darkness. In our world, we find evil that defies explanation, shirks all answers, offers no place for light to shine.
The entire answer must be that in Light alone, Gād cannot be found. For He is beyond dark and light, presence and absence, being and not being.
And so, just as darkness exists for the sake of light, so light exists for the sake of darknessāto reveal its true purpose, to allow knowledge of a wholly transcendent Gād to enter His world.
What we accomplish when we withstand the challenge of darkness. When we choose light.

There are moments when life feels like a puzzle missing half its pieces. We ask, Why this pain? Why now? But emuna gently reminds us: Weāre not meant to understandāweāre meant to trust.
We live in a time likened to dawn, that murky hour when shadows linger and clarity hides. Hashemās light is still present, just cloaked beneath the fog of confusion. He hasnāt disappeared; Heās orchestrating everything with compassion, even if the music sounds discordant to us.
Your soul was placed in the exact place itās meant to be. Even the discomfort is custom-crafted by the Divine Shepherd who pastures us with love. The yetzer hara wants you to see randomnessābut emuna tells another story: a story of precision, of being guided with perfect care.
Despair whispers lies. Emuna whispers truth.

To make the blind see, the deaf hear, the bitter sweet, the darkness shine. To make everyday business into mystic union. To rip away the faƧade of the world and to bring it to confess its secret oneness with the Divine.
