Freezing i posted a pitcher of our stakes on a fb page group homesteading New Zealand had about 300 likes i dont post for likes if i needed likes to post i woul have given up long ago but think a lot of people will buy beef calves with jersey in them now some guy wanted to know if i had more as someone wanted the marbling meat for the USA put a few post up on that page today a lot of talk but thats good if people are talking they are thinking

A good way to keep weeds down in the garden is news paper with dirt over it grass clippings work too and help hold water and helps the soil and food for the worms we got a big lawn but i dont get enough grass clippings I’ve got my worm farms compost bins i make fertilizer from it and weed controll in the garden but the chocks help a lot in keeping the weeds out of the garden looking for seeds

A good way to store fruit is in egg cartons in the fridge kinda the same way they export them and i herd they last 10 times longer in the fridge
