It comes down to the individual himself. One needs to Desire to learn. I came from a poor family but I had a voracious appetite to read and understand various subjects. My head was always in a book of some kind. That's how I found out that the history taught in school was mostly inaccurate. And I've written a couple of books of my own. Character and choice are very important components in the development of self.

Great perspective on the AA mindset. I always noticed the same things that the people who go to these meetings never seem to feel that they will ever resolve the issue. They keep perpetuating the belief that they still have a problem. And in regards to the energy from our family line, my family especially with regards to my father, always believed in lack and scarcity. Maybe because of their experiences due to the Depression Era. Because of the environment I lived under with these lack mindsets echoing through me constantly, it brought a lot of this scarcity with me along the way. As well as the fear of successfully reaching a higher potential in my life. I can see how all of this left its mark on my personal journey.
