I loved the line “Am I the sun on a rainy day, because all my light is gone.” There was a period in my life where I was severely addicted to drugs …so I really felt that line of your poem in particular, because I felt like the sun on a rainy day every day for years. 🤍 The beautiful thing about that analogy is that the sun always comes back out when the storm passes and now that it has passed for me so I feel like rainbow that sines afterwards. 🌈
