In my understanding of how things work, based on my own experiences... If the person thinks it's "fate", I would say they live their life with a "religious" approach.
Another way of looking at it is likened to "a tail that wags the dog". The environment is in control. This type of " religious" person lives with a victim consciousness and their "fate" is coming from decisions influenced from unconscious unresolved issues.
If the person uses skilled personal powers, and developed innate super powers and operates from the conscious level, I call this the spiritual approach. This approach allows the person to blow through blocks of the mind, body and spirit that would keep them from being all that they can be. It is likened to a dog that wags its own tail and in control of its own life. Empowered.
To simplify...
The religious approach blames or attributes what happens based on belief of God's will for them.
The spiritual approach uses their God-given powers to do what it takes to take self-leadership of their life and the results are God-empowered.
I see a lot of so-called "spiritual" people who still use "It must be God's will" as justification for their results. I think these people are actually "religious". I pray they truly awaken. Although the true "spiritual" path may be more difficult and you have to face your unconscious stuff, it's the path of truth and the fastest way to spiritually evolve... unless you have a "white light" experience which is like getting a "Get out of Jail Card". I call that "grace."
This is just how I see it.

I'm not as afraid of ai as I am of Quantum computing. A.i.is controlled by man. The Quantum computers have minds of their own which mankind could easily lose control over.
The other things mentioned I'm concerned with, but the quantum computers I see could become the greatest threat unless some type of guaranteed fail safe protection could stop it if it were to go haywire and become harmful to humanity, Earth, and creation itself.
