Nothing In Your Life Is Random

Everything unfolds with Hashem’s guidance and purpose. Not just the big things, but the small details too.

What we call coincidence is usually something much deeper.

Noticing that is not naïve or wishful thinking. It simply means you are paying attention.

And the more you pay attention, the more you begin to see it. How things are coordinated. How moments connect. How things happen at just the right time.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe once wrote to someone who was worried about his brother, a young man struggling with doubts in emunah.

The Rebbe’s answer was very simple.

Since your brother is intelligent and honest, he does not need complicated proofs. He only needs to look carefully at the past 24 hours of his life, even on a regular day.

If he does, he will begin to notice clear examples of yad Hashem. How things worked out. How situations came together. How the details were being guided.

When a person really looks, it becomes hard to ignore.

Try it.

At the end of the day, take a minute and look back.

Where did something just happen a little too perfectly?

Where did something small turn into something important?

Where did something frustrating end up helping you?

Train yourself to notice.

Because the more you notice, the more you begin to see.

And once you start seeing it, it becomes harder and harder to feel like you are on your own.

Hashem is there in every detail, all the time.

Sometimes the harshest critisism comes from within. We begin comparing ourselves to others, creating deadlines no one assigned, and setting expectations no one demanded. There’s an inner voice that keeps score against impossible standards, leaving us feeling as if we’ve fell short in a race that we were never meant to enter.

Growth doesn’t follow a universal clock – your path was never meant to mirror someone else’s. You’re not running late – you’re running your designated route. Different pace, same purpose.

Remember, you don’t need to become someone else to become something great. Never measure your progress by another persons accomplishments – you were built with different circumstances, different challenges, and a different calling. The only person to compare yourself to is who you were yesterday. Stay in your lane – it was tailor made for you.

So let the noise settle – the pressure, the comparisons, the illusion that you’re somehow less. You’re not behind – you’re running a different course. Every challenge you face is handpicked to shape what only you can create, and every step you take – no matter how small – carries the blueprint of your purpose. Trust the design, embrace the process, and remember: Hashem gave you a fingerprint that nobody else has so that you can leave an imprint that nobody else can.
