Wow! I feel your pain. I signed up during a “special” monthly amount of 14.99 or similar but am paying 19.99/month. I tried to get it fixed but it didn’t work. I’m sure that everyone here is trying to lift your spirits and let you know that you aren’t missing out. I am in the same boat so to speak, have need of tests that costs thousands but can’t afford. (I pay over 450/month for that great insurance, .gov is a scam). It seems that only those who can afford it get the first available, the best available or even better health. I try not to look at it that way because it puts you in a victim state of mind. I try to think the creator’s giving me what I need at that stage of my life and that I don’t need as much as others to get the message. Some folks need more help so they pay extra for it. You already get it!

Love is free, it never runs out, there is always more.

Bring it on sister!

I see or recognize people in pics by their eyes. (typically seen on tv even though I watch regular tv only an hour one day and sundays during football season) but when it happens it always totally floors me. It’s like they are shouting at me to recognize them. So no, your story is no more “out there” than the rest of us. Your among friends who are family😋

I guess it isn’t really that unique. Lol

Are you a transplant or native Missourian? I guess I should ask how you pronounce the name of the state, you know missourah or missouree?. lol. There is also the farty (40) thing. Just being funny.

Ok I am going to preface this with the fact that I learned this in school and I’m a long way out of school. The unique-ness is that our city and county are individual stand alone entities. The city of St. Louis is not inside a county. (Virginia, Carson city, Baltimore also) Back when St Louis was a happening City and the last vestige of society going west, there was a vote to separate the city from the county. The city had a much larger population than the county. The county was mainly farms/rural areas and the city didn’t want their tax dollars going to the county. A vote was held and it was supposedly really corrupt. The city was rumored to have thrown boxes of ballots in the river. It just struck me as funny with the current situation of our politics because it obviously never changes. The media always groups the two together

people do not understand the very unique situation we have in the city/county of St Louis, and how that all came about, I don’t believe the national news has a clue either. Good to know the folks of unifyd are everywhere.
